The first step in moving your data in Looker Studio with everythingData is to connect to our platform.
Some data sources have different requirements. Each data source documentation will have specific guidance on connecting to each data source.
This guide will show you the process for our most popular data source, Facebook Ads.
Instructions
Find our connectors - Locate our Looker Studio connectors here. Or search for 'everythingData' on the Looker Studio Connectors here Looker Studio
Select the product you want to try - Once you have found all of our connectors, click on the data source you want to use (ie. Facebook Ads).
Authorize Looker Studio - In order to use Looker Studio with your Google account, Google asks you to authorize Looker Studio to be linked to your account. Click Authorize.
Authorize Connector Use - Next you will be asked to athorize to use our Conenctor. Click Authorize.
Authorize Data Source - Next you will be asked to authorize everythingData to use the specific data source you choose (ie. Facebook Ads). After selecting the
Authorize button you will be walked through the specifc authorization (called Oauth) for each data source. This type of authoriztion provides you the
security that no user or password information is stored. It is all handled by the vendor, like Facebook
Select accounts and optional parameters - After the authorization, you will gain access to the connector. From here you need to select the accounts
you want to extract data from and, in some connector instances, select optional information.
Select template or new report - At the bottom of the configuration screen you have a checkbox to decide whether to use our custom templates or to create a new report.
Connect to your data - Click Connect on the top right to create you report.
Create Report - Click Create Report twice, once on the top right, then once in the pop-up screen. Your report will take a few seconds to generate
Change Your Dates - By default we use the last 28 days for a report. You can change these days by clicking Edit on the top right, selecting the calendar
and choosing the dates you want.
